I've noticed a lot of requests have been either not touched at all, or not picked up, or claimed and never filled.
I will remind everyone to please check the INACTIVE REQUESTS section for a banner request you were involved in that you can no longer find in the main board. After a set period of time, the mods move an untouched/inactive request to this board so it doesn't clutter up the board with actual active requests.
Remember, you are responsible for your own banner request. as a requester, it is your duty to constantly check up on your artist, and actually claim your graphic. Requesting without claiming/thanking an artist can cause great confusion, and is also a bit rude to the artist who took their time out to make your graphic. Without bumping or checking on their progress, it may seem as though you didn't really need that banner after all.
As an artist, you should be responsible for filling out your requests. if you can't do it, take the time out to tell your requester. Suggest they find a different artist, or open it up again to another artist/to all artists. If you want to fill it, but might take a little long doing so, it's only courteous to let them know you still have it, but will just take a bit of time making it. Don't leave your requester hanging - especially after you've claimed it, and haven't done anything about it.
Also, a reminder to the artists AND requesters that there are following pages after the first, and some requests are completely untouched there. So, please take the time out to go through the 2-3 pages that come after the first, in case there is a request for you/by you that you need to bump/fill/discuss/change.
Thanks!
